Pagi Hari di Durham

Azam? Dulu cikgu selalu remind buat azam waktu kat sekolah rendah. Tapi sejak masuk sekolah menengah, aku selalu tak buat azam bila masuk tahun baru. Sebabnya, tak pernah menjadi. Semuanya hangat-hangat tahi ayam. Maka untuk kesekalian kalinya, aku membuat keputusan untuk tidak membuat sebarang azam. Biarlah azam itu benda yang timbul sekali sekala di tengah tahun ke.

So tahun ini aku join Kak Dijah, tak buat azam. Tapi nak buat jangkaan aka prediction. Tak pernah? buat lagi dalam blog ini rupanya. Prediction tahun 2007 dibuat di sini dan keputusannya di sini. 2008 Predictions dibuat oleh kawan-kawan di sini dan keputusannya aku reveal setahun lepas itu di sini. Well, this is how I colour my world.

Anyway, for this year, I’m gonna make my own prediction. Hopefully, it will be revealed by the end of next year. So here it goes.

In 2009, in work, love, life and leisure; I predict that I am going to:-

1. WORK
- Still doing my PhD, InsyaAllah.
- Had a part-time job.
I actually think that I won’t get any part-time job as life is already chaotic by itself, but somehow I envisioned myself of having one.

2. LOVE
- Still single in the question of single/married.
It is just yesterday that my mom just Americanly asked me to get married. No more hinting. Shoot it straight to my face, which is not bad at all – I kinda love the approach. The question of being ready or not is left to be answered. Somehow I think that I won’t be tying the knot anytime soon. But it’s up to me to prove me wrong.

3. LIFE
- Be more than 60kg.
Oh yes, I am underweight. And for the last couple of weeks I’ve been losing like 2-3 kg. Seriously. I don’t think I’ll be eating a lot considering how lazy I am to cook foods. But I think 25 is the age for me to hit those 60kg. We’ll see.

4. FUN
- Be less fun and annoying
Last 9 months is not much of turning-into-a-better-person experience. Perhaps I had been a good friend to some, but I think I had turn bitter and easily frustrated with people around me. Next year, with all the heavy weight of study on my back, I think I’m gonna be less interesting. You know the time where you see some lecturers and wonder how uninteresting they are as a person. Yeah, I might be one of those. Or developing to those people.

5. BLOG
- Blogging more?
Yep, I bet.

6. TRAVEL
- 2 more new country for 2009
I don’t think I would. I keep thinking that I will go back to Durham this 19th, being the nerd like when I was in KMPP. Staying silently in my room, trying to focus on my study and being distracted by American Idol and Survivor, and Celebrity Apprenctice.

So, here’s my predictions on myself. If you care to add some more, feel free to put it in the comment, and I’ll count it next year.
